We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with a strong background in driving AI solutions into production to join our team.

As a Lead Data Engineer at deepsense.ai, you will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and production deployment of cutting-edge AI-driven solutions for a diverse range of clients. You will work closely with a team of talented engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI systems that address real-world challenges, with a focus on scalability and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • design and implement highly scalable, reliable, and performant data architectures that support AI-driven solutions,
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and translate business requirements into data engineering tasks and workflows,
  • construct and maintain optimal data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading of large data sets from various sources,
  • implement automated processes for data modeling, mining, and production,
  • work closely with AI research teams to prepare data for modeling and ensure the seamless integration of AI models into production systems,
  • ensure the integrity and privacy of data through the implementation of best practices in data management and security,
  • continuously evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance the scalability and efficiency of our data infrastructure,
  • share insights and contribute to internal knowledge dissemination through Tech Talks, presentations, and training sessions.

You must have:

  • at least 4 years of experience in a Data Engineering or similar role, with a proven track record in designing and implementing large scale data solutions,
  • experience in designing scalable, data-intensive software architectures in cloud / on-premise environments,
  • strong proficiency in Python and other languages eg. Scala. Experience with SQL,
  • experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.) and data warehousing solutions,
  • experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes,
  • familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) especially those related to data storage, computing, and processing,
  • solid understanding of data pipeline and workflow management tools,
  • knowledge of best practices and principles in data management, governance, and security,
  • strong analytical skills, with the ability to critically assess and troubleshoot complex data issues,
  • excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Bonus Skills:

  • experience with machine learning tools and platforms,
  • experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs),
  • familiarity with NoSQL databases and their applications in high volume data scenarios,
  • knowledge of DevOps and MLOps practices, particularly in the context of deploying and managing AI models.
